Job Summary
As a Water Well Driller, you will be responsible for operating drilling equipment to construct water wells, install pumps, and ensure the successful completion of projects. This role requires technical expertise, physical stamina, and a commitment to safety and quality. You will work both independently and as part of a team to deliver exceptional results for our clients.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Water Well Driller or in a similar role.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to operate heavy machinery and drilling equipment.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and regulations in the drilling industry.
  • Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • Starting Driller Bonus $.50 per foot open hole $1.00 per foot steel cased.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain drilling rigs and related equipment to construct water wells.
  • Drill boreholes to access underground water sources, ensuring proper depth and alignment.
  • Install well casings, screens, and seals to prevent contamination and stabilize the well.
  • Develop wells by flushing out debris and testing water yield to ensure optimal performance.
  • Install, repair, and maintain submersible pumps, jet pumps, and pressure tanks.
  • Conduct site assessments to determine the best locations for drilling.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with drilling equipment and well systems.
  • Complete required documentation, including drilling logs and job reports.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and supervisors.
